Founded by Debbie and David Yaskulka in 2002, Blueberry became the world’s largest online auction seller of shirts and ties, and due to its reputation for customer satisfaction and corporate philanthropy, has been featured in dozens of articles, six books, numerous TV spots, DVDs and even a PBS special. David has become a national spokesperson for socially responsible e-commerce.

Here is the story. Harris just began dating Jessica, and thought it could be serious. He decided his first gift to her had to be a piece of jewelry from the company he was about to launch. But Harris knew that Jessica, a top purveyor of luxury handbags for a large Specialty Dept. Store, was not easily pleased (a fact which became a playful joke between them).

When Harris presented her with the gift, a simple but elegant bracelet, she was obviously pleased, and whispered to him with a smile, "hey Mikey, she likes it."

Ever since, her nickname for Harris (now her husband) has been "Michael", and they knew the company must carry that name.
